sukijanai kedo aishiteru I don't like you, but I love you.

German version

Hanashima Kouki and Hidaka Asahi are two school boys who seemed to have been a couple for some time. Before book one begins, they had an argument and did not speak to each other. But when Asahi meets Kouki's sister one morning, she gives him her little baby son and tells Asahi to bring it to Kouki. So Asahi gives Kouki the child as a reconciliation present. From this moment on, all the books are short stories about their life together.

I am aware of the fact that this does not seem as one of the most interesting plots. The reasons why I love the books are different: First, it is the very natural and just adorable love relationship between Kouki and Asahi. I am sure that Minamino-sensei has to be in a very happy love relationship herself, otherwise I do not know how someone could invent so many endearing scenes between lovers. Both are totally devoted to each other, but still very free and playful. Another reason are the funny stories. Not one of them is without a quiet joke, either made by words, actions, drawings or just absurd conversations.

Additional to the comic there is also a little extra, a part of the drama theater.

Track 2 - buruuna aru hi - Blue Day

Sommer Some stories of volume one and two of the manga were made into a wonderful drama theater CD. Kouki is played by Midorikawa Hikaru (who performed the voices of Fushigi Yuugi: Tamahome, Gundam Wing: Heero Yuy, Revolutionary Girl Utena: Mikage Souji...), Asahi by Koyasu Takehito (Utena: Kiryuu Touga, Fushigi Yuugi: Hotohori, Gundam Wing: Zechs and my personal favourite anime character: Aburatsubo Ayanojou from Maho Tsukai Tai!...). Midorikawa especially is born to speak Kouki.

To be honest I wonder why exactly this comic became a "Drama Theater" - there is actually not much plot at all. But I love it! The downloadable track is identical to chapter 3 of the Manga.
